Over 11,000 items were supplied by UNHCR to its civil society partners
In September, UNHCR delivered over 11,000 pieces of core relief items (CRIs) to people in need all over Trinidad and Tobago. To undertake this massive effort, UNHCR relied on our partners and friends from NGOs, civil society organisations and State agencies to identify those most in need. UNHCR delivered the items to our partners, who in turn distributed the items to refugees, migrants, and other people in need in every corner of Trinidad and Tobago. Among the items distributed were blankets, solar lanterns and mosquito nets.

UNHCR thanks our partners for their willingness to help distribute these items and we look forward to making more distributions like this to benefit vulnerable communities across the country.
